What are the Bungles Books about?
Ronald Reagan believed in a “three-legged stool” which basically defines conservatism and once defined the Republican Party: fiscal responsibility, strong national defense, and Judeo-Christian social values. Reagan believed that without any of the three legs, the party would fail, much like a stool cannot stand with only two legs. The Bungles Books Series was created with the idea of teaching kids the fundamentals of those three legs. Each book seeks to show the ultimate end result of liberal ideas and of conservative ideals. Conservatism is so simple, even kids understand it!
In Bungles Loses His Marbles, a simple study of economics, we find out how behaviors change drastically when high taxes and big government is compared with low taxes and small government.
In Bungles Does The Bunny Op, a simple study of national defense, when confronted with the hard, cold reality that bad guys exist and desire to cause harm, we see the unchangeable consequences of a weak national defense verses a strong national defense.
